Adapted from The Herbal Home Spa, by Greta Breedlove (Storey Books, 1998).

Nobody looks good with puffy bags or dark circles under their eyes, but how to get rid of them?

SIMPLE SOLUTION: Well, this is the easiest remedy I鈥檝e ever run across, and it really works!

I was so surprised by the single kitchen-cupboard ingredient that this How-To calls for--it's not a cucumber, and you鈥檙e sure to have one on hand. Find out the secret here:

Raw potato slices will help tighten baggy, puffy eyes. All you need is a potato and a knife or slicer!

To Make:

1. Slice 1/4 potato to fit over your eyes.

2. Cut 2 slices or, if you prefer, 5 to 10 very thin slices, several for each eye. Either method works.

To Use:

1. Spritz eye area with water.

2. Lying down, place the potato slices on your eyelids and leave in place for at least 10 minutes for best results.

Then prick a vitamin K capsule and apply the oil to under the eye. Leave it on all night.

Hope this helps!!!Should i put a tinted moisturizer on Before or after my Dark Circle cream?
After...

ALWAYS, conceal first, then apply foundation/powder...

Good Luck!
General rules to applying skin care products:

cleanse

treatment

moisturize

protection

make-up

Treatments are usually correcting or adding nutrients. If you are applying two different treatment products you will want to apply the product that is thinnest or more penetrating first so it can absorb down into the skin. Applying a cream before a thin serum prevents the serum from penetrating into the skin.

Moisturizers go on next. You can apply the tinted moisturizer around the eye area by dabbing a little along the bone surrounding the eyes. It would be better to use a tinted product specifically for eyes as the skin is much more delicate in this area. Don't forget to apply SPF everyday then your make-up. I disagree with Dart Swinger. They don't do 'nothing' if they improve your confidence and self esteem!

Gently pat All about eyes over your eye area. Then do another task such as brushing your teeth to allow it time to be absorbed by you skin.

You may then apply tinted moisturiser on top of this without dampening the effects.
Since none of those things really work, it doesn't matter. My wife has tried everything under the sun, and those products do almost nothing, but cost plenty.
