Is it ok if i use a moisturizer as a eye cream?

the area around my eyes is really red and dry.Is it ok if i use a moisturizer as a eye cream?
Don't use moisturizer as an eye cream. The skin around the eye is very delicate and different than your face and needs something just for that area.

Eye cream is richer to protect and hydrate that area.

The skin around your eyes is a little like your lips. Thinner and also shows the first signs of agingIs it ok if i use a moisturizer as a eye cream?
Although marketing is wonderful - the eye area is gentle and different then say your forehead - a night cream is different then a day cream, generally at night your skin 'sleeps' and a day cream has spf - So eye creams do serve more then marketing..

Eye cream may have things in it to help puffiness, circles

and lines from aging, the sun and squinting -

personally the eye serum and cream I use isn't just words, it helps with all I just mentioned -

Check to make sure your cream doesn't contain any mineral oil - 87% of most creams at a drug store contain this 'cheap' product [distilled petroleum] which actually dries out your skin - instead of helping it.

Whatever cream you settle on - be sure to apply to the eye area with your 'ring' finger it's the weakest for the most gentle area on your face.

To answer your question an eye cream contains things for your eye area to help combat certain things. Some work better then others -
I do, try the aveeno sensitive skin or splurge and try estee lauder advanced repair eye cream, works 110%. I love it
okie to rescue bad times when it is urgent. But do not apply that on the eye area in the long term because the moistuizer is very rich for the eye area, u may have milia seeds instead.
I always have done this, I've always thought that although ';eye cream'; is a different formula, it is a waste of money.
yeah cream is cream . Don't always believe what they say on the label, its just marketing. I recommend E45 or Aqueous cream BP they are made for sensitive skin. The Doctor gave it to me and it does wonders. Its likely is you see a GP they will always reccomend it. plus you can get it in the shop for 拢2-3.50.
Yeah. Moisturizer should help.
