put moisturizer on first and wait a little while before you put on acne cream.Should you put the moisturizer on after you put on a acne cream?
no. in fact....unless ur skin is real dry....avoid cream as it can clog pores and make more zits appear. that is what i think anywayShould you put the moisturizer on after you put on a acne cream?
For best results, put on moisturizer within 3 minutes after you get out of the shower to lock in the moisture. Use a gentle hypoallergenic moisturizer like Cetaphil. Wait 5 minutes or so then put your acne meds on. Moisturization is very important when using topical medication because many acne meds can be irritating and dry out your skin, but don't worry, that means they're working! :)
THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO PUT THE ACNE SOLUTION ON AND JUST LEAVE IT ALONE. IF YOU ARE PEELING FROM IT USE LESS OF IT, LET IT DRY, WASH YOUR FACE AND PUT VERY LIGHT NON-COMEDOGENIC MOISTURIZER ON.

Girlies.. Do you wear suncream in your face cream/moisturizer?
i sure do! i didn't know the importance of suncream until recently. i can't believe i was sooo ignorant... i had used a face cream for 15 yrs but no sun cream in them until i found a great one and now i'm happy.Girlies.. Do you wear suncream in your face cream/moisturizer?
Yes,I buy face creams that contain a sun protector factor (S.P.F.). of no less than 15 now but I did not wear anything for ages as like you I didn't know.
You should put your S.P.F. on before your moisturiser if moisturiser does not contain S.P.F. Got told this by a beautician.Girlies.. Do you wear suncream in your face cream/moisturizer?
I used to, but you know what, in the summer the rest of my body would go brown but my face would be pale! I looked ridiculous. And fake tan just made my face look orange. I have good skin though anyway, dont smoke or use too much gunk on it and dont let it get burnt, so im not too fussed about it
I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I wear Ambi spf 15, which one do you wear? Also you should wear lip balm with spf, I use C.O Bigelow spf 15, don't wear lipgloss it's like a mirror for the sun and you can get cancer on your lips
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/oralc鈥?/a>
Yes, well it it in my makeup. One of which is BareMinerals spf 20 sunscreen summer bisque, I'm only in my late teen years, but you're never to young to start protecting ur face from those harmful UV rays =]
absolutely! and my makeup (Bare Essentuals) also has an SPF factor of 15! SO important!
Yes a dermatologist recommended that I do. I find it very hard to find one that has it though without paying a fortune.
yes- i use suncream on my face, once i didn't and i was bright red- on my face!
I just use the ole suncream on my face....dont bother with mixing in into the moisturiser! xx
No cream make my face feet.I am really lucky having nice face without creams on
Yes. My moisturizer has a built in sunscreen. I am 42 and wish I had done this starting in my 20's.
yes i wear a moisturizer with spf in it
Of course!! its the best way to prevent wrinkles!

Hello Samina M,
Creams, lotions and potions drain your wallet and band-aid the problem by themselves. Our Galvanic Spa handheld unit is a proven Anti-Aging tool that can control the puffy eyes by physically working on that area.
It uses a Galvanic current which has been used in spa's and the beauty industry for over 50 years. It costs roughly $6 per treatment vs $120+ in a spa.
The Galvanic Spa will work the skin and get the skin to begin producing elastin which tightens up the skin. It will also encourages the skin to create it's own elastin and collagen. It gives you tone by encouraging blood circulation to the muscles under the skin. It goes beyond Botox and cosmetic surgery.
If you have a favorite skin care product you like, the Galvanic Spa will increase the effectiveness of Arbonne, Mary Kay, Clinique and 1000's of other products by up to 70%.
It will give you a spa treatment in the comfort of your own home and a facelift in 10 minutes. Our motto is, ';10 minutes, twice a week for 10 weeks will make you look 10 years younger.';
It will work on wrinkles, deep lines, scars, stretch marks, acne, bags under eyes, dark circles under eyes, under arm flap, turkey neck and smoothes out cellulite. It will even give you more voluptuous lips.
Hope this helps.
Take Care,
Lori
To reduce puffiness around your eyes, use cool rags to reduce swelling.
Skin cancer rates have doubled over the last twenty years. Most conventional products contain petro-chemicals known to increase skin cancer risk. Less than 30 years ago, the risk of skin cancer was 1 in 10. Now, it's 5 of 10. The rates are still climbing. Half of us will likely have to deal with skin cancer - the cost, the pain, the fear, the bandages and the scars. It's a free country, cosmetics companies can put almost whatever they want in cosmetics and don't have to state the risks.
I'd be very afraid of putting chemicals on such thin skin. In that area, you will absorb a higher concentration of these chemicals into your body. Chemicals known to increase breast cancer risk, liver damage, neurological disorders, birth defects and more. In addition to causing skin damage that consumers will spend money to try to fix with even more damaging products.

Best cream for under eye moisturizer, with least chemicals?
i need a cream for under my eyes as they are dry, i do not want an anti-wrinkle cream though i just want a under eye moisturizer, which is the best with least chemicals. thankBest cream for under eye moisturizer, with least chemicals?
If you are looking for home remedy to reduce wrinkles, try this.
Smear honey on your face and leave it for as long as possible (but 5-10mins a day will do). then rinse off with tepid water mixed with a teaspoon of cider vinegar - this has a neutral pH and will act as a toner.
And if you have some bucks, Lifecell anti wrinkle cream would be a good choice. You can have more information here.

I use Nicole Miller's line from Melaleuca.

Arbonne intelligent eye cream is really good and there are no chemicals! Its made with plant and minerals! Email and i can get you the ingredient list!

Ladies, I'm 30. I need a great moisturizer, cream, or something....?
for my face and eyes.
I'll be 31 soon, my skin is still pretty youthful, as am I, lol.
:-D
But, let's face it, I'm getting older and I'm beginning to see the tightness and shine in my face is slowly diminishing.
I've gone to a few beauty counters, but they never seem to recommend just 2 or even 3 products, they try to shove 5 or more items on me... ';You'll want this for that, that to help this, this to work well with that, that enhances this...'; yadda yadda yadda.
So ladies.... Any suggestions?
thanks :)
Ladies, I'm 30. I need a great moisturizer, cream, or something....?
mary kay has a good age defying moisturizer with spf

i lvoe shopping for products on earthglominerals.com too!!Ladies, I'm 30. I need a great moisturizer, cream, or something....?
Oil Of Olay works GREAT, I use it!! Even though I'm only 25 lol.
But, Jane Seymour has a product called ';Natural Advantage'; %26amp; they said pretty much all ages can use it %26amp; that it works GREAT. That for younger, it keeps you youthful (teens,20's,30's) That it helps out ALL ages they said its used from ages 16- into the 90's. That it even helps clear pores, etc.
Try Murad perfecting day cream 30 SPF.
Spooooge!!!!!!
nuetrogena has some anti-aging stuff that works well.

Using baby oil cream as face moisturizer?
ive just gotten rid of a huge blackhead problem (about 150 on my whole face), my older brother sat me down and got every single one off of my face and now im trying to keep it that way. the skin on my face is a little dry and i know that if your skin is dry your body produces more oil to fight the dryness which causes the blackheads. i was wanting to know if i could use baby oil cream or would that be just like the oil your face produces?Using baby oil cream as face moisturizer?

Try and find something that has a three step system to it. That works the best. Your gonna spend at least $15-$20 tho.
wash your face with chedaphil(something like that) and use OXY at night. u should see a dermotologist to completely take control over it

I'm only 20 but I want to have the nicest skin possible, should I use any overnight creams? moisturizer?
I wear makeup everyday, how can I keep my skin looking nice?I'm only 20 but I want to have the nicest skin possible, should I use any overnight creams? moisturizer?
Wash your face, and put on mousuriser cream at night.I'm only 20 but I want to have the nicest skin possible, should I use any overnight creams? moisturizer?
It's good to use moisturizer only if your skin is dry. If it's oily, it's too much and your skin could break out. The best thing you can do for the long range is to use a sunscreen SPF 15 or greater and one that has the UVA ingredients titanium dioxide, zinc oxide or avobenzone. The first two are great for dry skin; the last for oily skin. Also, use it daily and reapply if needed.
You know, I'm 23 and I asked the same question yesterday. My good friend at work who is 29 and looks younger than me said she uses Oil of Olay moisturizer every time she washes her face because it doesn't have any actual oil in it (if you have combination or oily skin it's the best) and it has worked for her for years. There are also preventative wrinkle creams and such that you can buy at Walmart and pharmacies that are not too expensive that work well. I am about to try the new Garnier face care products on the basis that the hair care works so well, I am willing to give the facial care a try. Good luck!
well I would drink lots and lots of water. Eat right, like fruits and veggies. Moderate on junk food. This is what I use:St. Ives cleanser, St. Ives apricot scrub and oil of olay moisturizer. I love it! I also use a Queen Helen Mint face mask about 2 times a week. Good luck!

yes you shoudl use overnight creams - they do make a difference. i've been using it since eternity now n i'm kinda addicted to it.
You can use Arbonne. It's a sweedish skin care line. email me for more info.
Make sure to use a moisturizer every day. Also, make sure that your moisturizer has SPF in it, 15 SPF is okay, but 30 SPF is better. Trust me, you will be very thankful that you started moisturizing at that early age. At night, be sure to wash your face. For the cleanest skin, remove your makeup first and then use a cleanser made for your skin type. I don't use overnight creams unless my face feels dry/tight, so I don't think you'll need them either. Lastly, try to drink at least eight glasses of water per day, because you'll be moisturizing from the inside out. And yes, it DOES make a world of difference.
Good Luck!

Is it alright to use aqueous cream as an all over body moisturiser including around the eyes?
if not do i have to use a proper ';eye-cream'; for my eyes or is it ok just to use normal moisturiser?
if i need an eye-cream which is the best. im 27 yrs old.Is it alright to use aqueous cream as an all over body moisturiser including around the eyes?
The skin around the eyes is very delicate and often ';normal'; moisturisers are too heavy and can leave the skin puffy. i always advise people to spend as much as they can comfortably afford on eye creams/gels, but if you are after a ';high street'; brand then Garnier and the Body Shop are my recommendations! Is it alright to use aqueous cream as an all over body moisturiser including around the eyes?
I have never heard of this moisturiser before, however i wouldn't advice anything not particularly for around the eyes on that area especially if you are 27 (This is the time you would need to think about taking care of that area for future ageing)
I would advice a decent eye cream, if you are looking for something that is not too expensive then your local boots/superdrug store will sell inexpensive eye creams.
Or if you are looking for something that you are willing to pay a little bit more money for, then i would advice going to your local Christian Dior/Est茅e Lauder counter where there the assistant can advice you on which eye cream is better for your needs/skin type
aqueous cream is amazing! use it everywhere!!! its totally fragrance free so it shouldnt irritate your skin. but due to your age i would start using an eye cream and a night cream for preventative measures, you should look young and beautiful for longer then!
Aqueous cream makes a pretty fanyastic moisturiser when added to your bath water! but thts abt it, it jus seals in moisture, no special magical ingredients, so yeah its fine around the eyes (my son used it for his eczema which he had on his eyelids)xmwax!!!

What is the best moisturiser cream to use?
I use St Ive's, it's affordable and my face feels and looks great. It's loaded with the vitamins and minerals your skin needs to stay healthy too and... it's probably one of the more affordable products out there. It doesn't feel heavy, just a little dab goes a long way so it's great under makeup! What is the best moisturiser cream to use?
vitamin e cream from the body shop because its not oily like some moisturisersWhat is the best moisturiser cream to use?
I found guinot the best
well it depends on what type of skin you have really
dry / oily / combination / sensitive
and then use the one that suits your skin
For my face, I just got a new one that I love. It's Ponds dry skin cream.
try to know your skin type and go for the apropriate one. go for the quality based on the price.
Depends on if you have oily, dry or combo skin. But, Mary Kay has a large line of moisturizers that are great for your skin and are Anti-Aging as well. I would start there, because it you buy one you don't like, you will be able to exchange it and try another one.
Try NIVEA MOISTURIZING CREAM for intensive moisturizing.
Also try St. Ives Oil Free Moisturizer if you don't like the feel of grease on your face. It's very light.
Or you can look for Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. It's great for sensitive skin, not so greasy too.
GNC Vitamins E, A, %26amp; D Moisturizing Cream. $1.99 at GNC stores. It's so lightweight and makes your face all smooth. I used to use Oil of Olay day cream but it was too heavy to wear under makeup. You cant beat 2 bucks either.
if you are not looking for anti-wrinkle effects, then according to me, nivea cream is the bestttttttttttttttttttt.................鈥?been using it like for some 6 years n my skin is baby soft in the morning...........i apply daily at night and my skin glows in the morning............
the surveys say any moisterizer is as good as the next...they say the cheaper ones work just like the pricey ones...as long as you use them.....they won't help if you don't use them
first i have been washing my face with noxzema for 25 years...nobody believes i am 41....then i apply aveeno---i swear by it
First of all - anything you can buy in a grocery store IS NO GOOD! Its cheap %26amp; readily available for a reason!!!! These cheap brands contain so much alcohol %26amp; Urea (horse urine) and are extremely drying. They make your skin feel soft but then an hour or so later its dry %26amp; you feel like you need to reapply - they do this so you use more %26amp; therefore buy more. Do not buy any skin products from a grocery store!
Go %26amp; treat yourself to a facial, your therapist will give you a skin diagnosis as to what skin type you are. You cant just go and buy a moistriser, you need to see what your skin needs.
I know it seems like an effort %26amp; it will cost money, but your skin will thank you when you are 40 and look like your 30 with beautiful, healthy skin!
:O)
P.S: make sure you wear sunscreen everyday too!
I always use vaseline intensive care, they come in different types depending on your skin type, but they arent too expensive and always leave my skin nice and soft plus they are suitable to use every day on both body and face.makeup tips
vitamin e cream from the body shop because its not oily like some moisturisersWhat is the best moisturiser cream to use?

Can you get away with using regular moisturiser as eye cream? ?
I can't afford to get some eye cream, so can I just use my day/night cream on my eyes? Can you get away with using regular moisturiser as eye cream? ?
Yes, but don't get it too close to the actual eye. Even eye cream is meant to be used by patting it on the orbital bone (the round bone around the eye). Eye creams are generally more moisturizing for the delicate, thin skin around the eye, and may not contain as many harsh ingredients that are not good for the eyeball if they get in it.Can you get away with using regular moisturiser as eye cream? ?
Yes, you'll be fine. I used to get special eye cream and it did nothing at all. Normal cream was by far more effective.

I've heard there's a cream/moisturiser you can use to prevent stretch marks in pregnancy. What is it called?
It is called bio-oil and you can get it from Lloyds PharmacyI've heard there's a cream/moisturiser you can use to prevent stretch marks in pregnancy. What is it called?
just keep your belly well moisturised, if you can get your partner to do it as it is relaxing. but it dont matter what you do some peoples skin is stretchier than others so not everyone gets them.I've heard there's a cream/moisturiser you can use to prevent stretch marks in pregnancy. What is it called?
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I matters what kind of skin u have . I used all that stuff and guess what IT DID NOT WORK!
Stretch marks are genetic, all you can do is use something to keep your skin moisturised so it stretches well. I used the cocoa butter stick from the Body Shop; it's gorgeous, smells like white chocolate. My husband rubbed it in every night, which was nice for both (all?) of us. I had twins, and I didn't get stretch marks, but as I said, it's just the luck of my genes!
Dont know.
But loads swear by Bio Oil.
i tried all sorts, if your gonna get them you'll get them, nothing worked for me
Bio-oil.
it worked for my mother in-law
There are several ointments you can use to try and prevent getting stretchmarks during pregnancy. However, the tendancy to get stretchmarks is actually a hereditary trait. If you got stretchmarks growing up, you will most likely get them when you are pregnant no matter what you do. Lotions and such can minimize the damage though.
Shea butter works well, and any lotion that keeps the skin moist will do.
My Girlfriend used extra virgin olive oil and hasnt didnt have a stretch mark in site
I think it MUST depend on what kind of skin you have. I never really thought about whether my skin was stretchy or not, but i rubbed in cream right from the time i knew i was pregnant, in both my pregnancies, and i was lucky, i have only got two of the tiniest little marks, while some people their tummy is so bad it looks like they've been in a fire!
In my first pregnancy i used a cream i made up myself - i had a book about blending creams, but the second one i just bought something. I reckon more or less anything will do, but probably if its got vitamin e in it the better. Also, EAT WELL - nuts, avocados, fruit, oily fish (i think you have to check how much of that you can eat in pregnancy).
I'm afraid you have to accept that your body changes in pregnancy and is changed thereafter. I have got stretch marks on my boobs, but not too bad there either.
Don't put on a lot of weight. Pregnancy is not an excuse to over-eat and eat junk!
Good luck!

Bio oil, it get's rid of scars too!
I used Bio oil and it's fantastic. You need to use it twice a day all over your bump and hips though. I ran out and kept forgetting to get some more and I now have some marks but friends who have used it religiously had no marks at all. It smells gorgeous as well. It's also really good for your face. My skin hasn't felt so smooth for years.

Bio - Oil - My wife used it after the birth of our third child and it really helped.
Check out http://www.bio-oil.info/en/home. There are a number of clinical trails and acknowledgements from scientists that it really works - Its not cheap though - about £15.00 per 100ml.
Are you in UK or USA? - It doesn't look like it is available from stores in USA so you would have to order by mail order. - On the Bio Oil website there is a complete list of global availability
Hope this helps
Palmers coco butter is a good one and is designed for pregnancy stretch marks.
I put on 20 kilos and used a base oil like sweet almond oil with some safe essential oils and I didn't get one stretch mark and I was huge.
But everyone is different but it doesn't hurt to try something safe.
The oil I used was from a shop called ';The Perfect Potion'; in Australia
I don't know why so many people think you can rub a cream on the outermost layer of skin to prevent the innermost layers from becoming pulled to cause stretch marks. There is NOTHING in this world to rub in that will prevent you from getting this: it has everything to do with genetics (and maybe a little bit of luck!).
Go ahead: look it up! There's nothing that will stop you getting them if you are prone to them. Look at your body: do you have stretch marks already (from growth spurts)? If not, then you may not get them...did your mom and grandma get them during pregnancy? No? Then you may not get them either...but if you have any or if your mom and grandmother have them, then chances are very good that you'll end up with them as well.
Smaller women tend to get less, because their skin has plenty of growing room left compared to a heavier woman, but that weight alone won't prevent them.
Try using Bio-oil. It prevents strecthc mark and dramaticly reudces the redness within them. Available at boots stores.
Ok - I have been told by a couple of pregnant friends that Olive oil works very well - but you have to use it really regularly - and keep it up after the birth. Good luck!!
L'oreal
Stretchmark Corrector....anti-stretchmark + firming cream, it is dermatologically tested and contains Prolasium + X-Tensyl
You can get it through most department stores....M%26amp;S, Debenhams etc.
Hope it helps.
vitamin e oil
The secret is.....Don't gain more than 35 lbs. Your blood volume doubles and the body gains excess fluids through out the body(10) The breast enlarges (10) Amniotic fluid (5) baby (6-8) placenta (3). You are not eating for two. Get a good maternity girdle. They are wonderful. It's like two hands holding the belly up and away from your bladder and ligaments that go to the lower back and thighs. And lubricate, lubricate, lubricate. Use vitamin E capsules, in any cream or oil you have. Hope that helps.
the ones that work are the butter creams. I use belly butter... it looks like a deorderant stick... all natual
I used several different ones including Avent, Bio-oil and cocoa butter. None worked for me and I didn't gain that much weight.
I used everything from Vaseline, to cocoa butter to vitamin e creams and they all worked a treat ..... until the NINTH month!! then...... STRETCH Marks!!!!
Don't worry everything is worth it for your darling baby!
Good luck
Prevent ? oh no child you have much to learn. You can buy a number of things to reduce them but not prevent them. This is the start of a new journey for you obviously. You can prevent pregnancy but all the ';good stuff'; of motherhood is pretty much on a damage control level. One thing to not forget to do is kegal exercises, if you don't you may be changing your pants as often as your new baby's.
i heard that Bio oil is good but it's expensive. I rubbed cream in every day from 6 weeks but i still got some. you can probably limit them by using these creams but probably not prevent them. My friend says baby lotion is just as good as any other cream and she didn't get any but then everyone has different skin to start with. ...i'm rambling now..... On a personal note - i have grown to love mine.
I USED A PRODUCT CALLED BIO-OIL. ITS QUITE EXPENSE ( ABOUT £9 FOR 60MLS) BUT IT IS FANTASTIC, I CARRIED ON USING IT EVEN AFTER I WAS SO IMPRESSED! ALTHOUGH ITS A OILS ITS NOT GREASY AT ALL, WEIRD HEY? APPARANTLY ITS CONTAINS PURCELLIN OIL.....
THEY HAVE A WEBSITE, WWW.BIO-OIL.INFO.
Sorry luv, if your going to get them you will. Try not to gain too much weight and massaging any good skin treatment on will be pleasant especially if you do it together. Strech marks though are normally your skin type dependant.
Bio-oil if fantastic for b4 and after. Buy it on eBay, its much cheaper
Vitamin E, cocoa butter, shea butter or a combination. Use it often, most people don't use something enough and then complain that it didn't work. By often I mean more then 5 times a day. Every woman I know who avoided stretch marks carried their jar of stuff everywhere and it was always putting it on.

What are good face-cream/moisturizers for 18 yr old female?
I have been using Burts Bees night creme and eye creme and I ABSOLUTELY love it!!
Not only does it moisturize but it is loaded with antoxidants (its all natural hence the bee part lol) and fights premature wrinkles.
It is expensive but one jar at $15 seriously lasts me about a year so it is completely worth the $$.What are good face-cream/moisturizers for 18 yr old female?

You can get a sampler bottle of 'dramatically different moisturizing lotion' from clinique for about $13. It lasts a long time because a little goes a LONG way. It keeps your skin moist and helps a lot if you have acne or any other skin problems.

Which goes first: moisturizer or pimple cream?
My mother does skin care classes
For Mary kay.
Youu always put the extras first.
Like pimple cream or whatever like
Medication or something. That wayy
It is able to do what it was made for.
If you put moisteriser first it may create
A barrier %26amp;%26amp; not work as well.
Hopee it helps. (:Which goes first: moisturizer or pimple cream?
Honestly, I don't think it matters THAT much, but I prefer to use the moisturizer first. That way any liquidy pimple gels that don't fully dry invisible can simply set on the skin before you go to bed. As for the ones that blend in without a trace, I think it's just your personal preference.Which goes first: moisturizer or pimple cream?
pimple cream, because it may dry your skin and the moisturizer will help afterwards.
pimple cream, (: then moisturizer.

pimple cream, because it may dry your skin and the moisturizer will help afterwards.
pimple cream, (: then moisturizer.

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:
* Mineral Oil, Paraffin, and Petrolatum – Petroleum products that coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatologic issues. Slows cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer. Disruptive of hormonal activity. By the way, when there’s an oil spill in the ocean, don’t they rush to clean it up – fast? Why put that stuff on your skin?
* Parabens – Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.
* Phenol carbolic acid– Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.
* Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, and may inhibit skin cell growth or cause skin irritation.
* Acrylamide– Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.
* Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived
* Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.
* Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin.
Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”.
Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.
IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and substitute virgin/extra virgin olive oil or a natural coconut oil to moisturize in the meantime until you find a better alternative!!! Tell ALL your friends and family!!!

Is it bad to use moisturizer in the eye area if you run out of eye cream?
It depends on what you use.
If you use a mild one it will be Ok but anything heavy might irritate it a bit.
Just make sure you don't get it in your eye.Is it bad to use moisturizer in the eye area if you run out of eye cream?

Moisturizer cream before OR after makeup??!?
I got this BIG question, bc what I do after taking a shower I apply the moisturizer cream in my face and then I apply foundation, concealer, powder(SOMETIMES), mascara %26amp;blush IS THIS OK?Moisturizer cream before OR after makeup??!?
you want to apply your moisturizer after you have cleansed and toned your face. then let it sink into your skin before applying any make up. using a moisturizer before applying make up will also prevent cakey looking make up and if it doesn't then try a face primer =] what you do is perfectly ok it will not harm your skin, if you don't use a base brfore make up, this can harm your skin ad your skin will just drink in all the make up and the chemicals contained in your products! =] it's good to create a layer between your skin and make up =]Moisturizer cream before OR after makeup??!?
yes I do the same thing wen I come out of the shower I put the olay spf 15 cream and then i use the pore minimizer from loreal and then i put sum sunblock and after i start my makeup so wat you are doin is fine it ok cuz I do the same thing I hope I helped you out!
Definately before you put all that on. One because it helps your foundation and everything else go on smoother, and two, because if you put it on after, you might risk messing up your make up.
Apply all lotions and moisturizer promptly after your shower, this will keep the moisture close to your skin. I would put concealer before foundation, and blush on top of that...powder should smooth it all out, last step.
before makeup def.
mine? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
yes its totally okay! but make sure it goes on first otherwise you'll smudge the makeup and ruin all the hard work.
think of the moisturiser as primer, use it instead
DEF BEFORE never do after it would defeat the purpose of all your makeup!
yea im pretty sure thats how ur supposed to do it....thats wat i do!makeup tips

I have a friend who doesn't use cream, moisturizer or cleaning gel.....?
I think that is absolutely nuts ! She says she doesn't because there still was quicksilver used in some creams.I'm like wtf.I need arguments to explain her that is bad for the skin.I have a friend who doesn't use cream, moisturizer or cleaning gel.....?
sometimes the skin looks beautiful and is healthy with no cosmetics, but only a few people are lucky like that. i doubt there is quicksilver in some cream, but if you read the labels you can find pretty interesting things there. so it's her skin and you shouldn't force her to use moisturizer I have a friend who doesn't use cream, moisturizer or cleaning gel.....?
Why not treat her (and yourself) to a free facial somewhere? The person doing the facial can explain what is in the products and how/why they work.
I know that Mary Kay gives free facials. You can contact a local consultant by going to www.marykay.com and clicking on the top center link to find an Independent Beauty Consultant. Then all you have to do is enter your zip code. The consultant's information (name and #) should come up on their webpage. Just give them a call and let them know what's going on. If that consultant can't help for some reason ask them if they know someone who can, if not go back to the main Mary Kay page and search for another consultant.
Good luck!!
Man i am totally with u! Seriously is she nuts or is she nuts. Everyone knows quicksilver is bad for u but she still uses it.
Anyway u should tell her to stop using it or her face will be the ugliest face in the world!!!
If it works for your friend then let it go.
Your friend will realize later that those products are good for your skin and later on helping your skin to remain soft and smooth, it takes time.
how is it your business, its her own
yer its your friend but thats her personal life

Moisturizer, Facewash, and Acne Cream for oily skin?
I am in need of a great face wash, moisturizer, and acne cream that is best suited for people whose skin is prone to being oily. I am not talking any fancy expensive stuff from department stores or that you have to order. I am talking something that I could run out to a drug store or Walmart and buy.Moisturizer, Facewash, and Acne Cream for oily skin?

only the best.Moisturizer, Facewash, and Acne Cream for oily skin?
That's easy.
I use Aveeno skin wash, oxy acne cream, and Garnier moisturizer.
And I get each and everyone at wal-mart. Very inexpensive.
Murad Ache Complex System. You won't find anything that amazing from walmart... to be honest. For ache you want quality. You can get it from Sephora. It comes with a cleanser, spot treatment, skin perfecting lotin and a serum. 90% of the users seen results in 4 weeks.

Ladies, I'm 30. I need a great moisturizer, cream, or something....?
Velocity by Mary Kay is awesome, I'm a teenager and I love it, but my mom uses it too!! It's only about $6 too, and if you know a Mary Kay lady you could probably get a discount.
If your talking drug store brands, I've used Clean and Clears Soft Day and Night moisturizers, those are really great, cause a little over $7 each.
Target has a good moisturizer too, it's right next to Clean %26amp; Clears dual action moisturizer, looks a lot like it, only target brand and about $5.
Hope I helped!

I'm 29 years old, with combination skin and not a lot of dough...Can anyone help?Help! I'm looking for a good ';affordable'; face wash, moisturizer, and eye cream. Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a good ';affordable'; face wash, moisturizer, and eye cream. Any suggestions?
Simple .
Simple has a whole range of face products that bis perfect for combination skin, dark skin etc.. Ive used this for a while i hadnt got the best skin, and now compliments are rolling in!..
They have:
Face wash
Gel wash
mosturizer (FWI - you can get a light mosturizer or a rich one in your case i would suggest a rich one)
wrinkle cream
Night cream
I use all these daily..this is only a sample of what they produce..
All simple products have only natural ingrediants no added chemicals..it is odour free and simply brilliant..
I use Neutrogena Oil-free acne wash, and it really keeps my skin clear! I follow it up with spot cream on my trouble areas.
The best moisturizer you will ever try is Oil of Olay. I know it sounds like its for old ladies, but it soaks in really nicely, doesn't leave your skin feeling too moist. I used it before I put my makeup on and I don't even feel it under my powder. And it has spf 15 so it keeps your skin protected. (there's no oil in it).
Neutrogena has a great range of affordable (drugstore prices) skincare products for all different skin types (dry, oily, combo).

I have a question about a moisturizer cream.?
if i use niva sof with joioba oil is this going to block my pores or induce more acne on my skin.....i have mmild pre existing acneI have a question about a moisturizer cream.?
jojoba is great for your skin. The only thing that would block your pores is all the chemicals and petroleum based ingredients in the cream itself. The best moisturizers are coconut oil, pure shea butter(raw is even better), pure cocoa butter. If you have acne adding a bit of tea tree oil will work wonders. If it is for your face. Emu oil and tea tree are great(I use it, and love it!)makeup tips

Whats the best moisturizer and anti wrinkle cream?
Anti-wrinkle doesn't work. If you want to prevent wrinkles, put on sunblock (not sunscreen).....and where a hat.Whats the best moisturizer and anti wrinkle cream?
Estee Lauder!!!!!!Whats the best moisturizer and anti wrinkle cream?
Biotherm Products the de-tox range is great and you get loads of samples to try before you buy which many make up counters do not do.
I don't know what is the best moisturizer, but I use Squibb Vitamin E cream nightly for my face.
I swear by this stuff and the coolest part is that it is organic!
Secret SauceTM is a new revolutionary all-natural anti-aging and
we think the ';Ultimate De- Wrinkify Solution'; for beautiful skin!
Improves skin tone
Increases skin firmness
Reduce appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
Helps rejuvinate your skin
Increases the moisture level of your skin
Pure product Secret SauceTM contains high concentrations 10% of Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (Argireline庐), a synthesized peptide that displays excellent anti-wrinkle results by relaxing skin tissue when wrinkles form. Simply put, it works in much the same way as the ';infamous'; injection, (and without all the potential side effects), by safely blocking the transmitter from the muscle to the skin, keeping the skin relaxed and smooth. Testing has shown that it reduces the severity of wrinkles around the eyes, up to 17% faster after 15 days of treatment and up to 27% after 30 days of treatment.
A huge dose of L-Sodium Hyaluronate, the Chirally Correct pure form of Hyaluronic Acid, is intensely hydrating, plumps the skin with moisture, re-hydrates, as well as re-energizes cellular renewal and helps protect against free radical damage. Hyaluronic Acid provides superior moisturizing capability by absorbing more water than most moisturizing agents. It's unmatched hydrating properties result in increased smoothness, softening and a decrease in wrinkles, and stimulates the skin's natural regeneration process to significantly improve its appearance.
Pentapeptides (Matrixyl庐) is a Retinol replacement, and was designed to promote collagen and elastin production while strengthening the essential structural matrix of the skin tissue. Matrixyl庐 is a remarkable solution that encourages skin tissue to restore itself to more youthful strength while promoting deep tissue repair. It also encourages the growth of healthy young cells and is the primary active ingredient in a popular stretch mark therapy cream.
Free of artificial colors, fragrance, preservatives, and always cruelty free.
Arbonne is great. There are products for men and women. There is even a guarantee if you do not like it for any reason return it.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
Try something from Lancome or Olay maybe. My mom uses the Absolute cream from Lancome and she likes it.
it's not exactly an anti-ager, but clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion is amazing
I have tried many since I was in my early twenties, I am now thirty. The one that I have found to be the absolute best is Silkies Enriche. They have different steps depending on age. I am using Silkies Enriche Protect all in one with spf 14, which is the first step. It keeps your skin so soft, great moisturizer and awesome anti-ager! And it's not greasy or oily like many others. I get it online. I will come back and put the link in as soon as I find it.

What moisturizer is best to use in combo with Epiduo Acne Cream? please be specific :)?
also if you have any ideas on what to wash my face with (if even necessary at all)What moisturizer is best to use in combo with Epiduo Acne Cream? please be specific :)?
There is this new popular cream that people have been talking about.
It was even televised on TV.
It prevents future and existing acne, diminishes scars, and lightens skin and blemishes. Fast results too! (It has been claimed that major results can be seen within a week and no later than two weeks)
Before and After photos are available at the given ebay site.
This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:
Search up ';best acne solution ever'; on ebay.
First 100 customers can get the item for $1 for one week trial and up to 3 weeks. Or you can buy the whole container for $160
It's expensive, but the product DOES work.
My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.
I don't have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.
I hope this helps. =)

Read the list of ingredients. If you don't trust it, take the product to an independent lab and pay for a complete chemical analysis. If you want to be cheap, just stop using the product and all similar products. You look the way you look and the world can just bloody well live with it.

Which one first, toner or moisturizer or whitening cream?
i m confused.Which one first, toner or moisturizer or whitening cream?
toner, whitening cream, then moisturizer..
let each stay on skin for at least 5 minutes to enable good absorption of the products before you apply the next one.Which one first, toner or moisturizer or whitening cream?
i think its white cream, toner, then mosturizer.
you should use toner than whitening cream and then moisturizer.
definatley, toner to get all the oil and dirt of of ur face.
1. Toner
2. Whitener
3. Moisturizer
Definetly use your cleanser,
and then toner,
then whitening cream
and finally moisturizer.

Is there a correct way of applying: eye cream, toner, moisturizer? what strokes?
I think I've watched it on TV but i can't remember..Is there a correct way of applying: eye cream, toner, moisturizer? what strokes?
Start with toner: the best way, lightly tapping your skin. Follow with moisturizer, with upward movements. Careful not too strong. Last, eye cream: lightly tap with ring finger (it麓s because it麓s the least strong finger) from the inside corner outwards, and from the browbone inwards. Hope this was helpfulIs there a correct way of applying: eye cream, toner, moisturizer? what strokes?
Starting with toner, gently rub on face in an upward circular motion. Allow a few seconds to air dry. Next, apply your moisturizer in the same pattern, starting in the T-Zone and working up and out toward the hairline. Finally, apply your eye cream lightly around your eyes, in a gently outward stroke.
you first apply toner bc that unclogs all ur pores and you stroke upwards. Then you moisturize ur skin and then use an eye cream for last

What are some good tinted moisturizers/ cream bronzers/ self tanners for your face?
I am really pale and I just want a little color on my face, but I want it to look subtle and natural lol not orange. Are there any brands in particular? It doesn't matter whether its an everyday thing (like a bronzer) or a long term gradual thing like a moisturizer. Thanks! What are some good tinted moisturizers/ cream bronzers/ self tanners for your face?
Mary Kay tinted moisturizer with SPF 25. It looks and feels really light and natural. After you put it on, you wont even know its there!Just be sure not to get one thats too dark or youll look weird...they dont look orange either. What are some good tinted moisturizers/ cream bronzers/ self tanners for your face?
how about that jergens natural glow stuff (not the stuff for your body the stuff for your face)
I like Olay...Touch of Sun...for the face. It gives a natural color gradually and is a decent moisturizer. Smells okay too!
just use make-up it's easier i use the sun.....
or use jergens.......

Is there a cream or moisturizer i could use to prevent skin damage on sunbeds?
If you are using a sun bed you should follow the proper safety precautions. Is there a cream or moisturizer i could use to prevent skin damage on sunbeds?
I have a hard time understanding why you want to use a sunbed if you know for a fact that it damages your skin.

Women over 40???What do you use for a moisturizer or age defying cream?
My skin is a bit on the dry side. I've been using olay of olay but I'm not crazy about it.Women over 40???What do you use for a moisturizer or age defying cream?
I use whatever the wife has lying around lol,,
sssshhh don't tell anyone,,,,,,
xWomen over 40???What do you use for a moisturizer or age defying cream?
Truthfully, it doesnt matter too much what brand you use - and it really doesn't need to be an expensive brand, either. With most facial creams you're not paying for the ingredients (which don't vary much from cheap to expensive brands anyway...) you're paying for the name on the jar or bottle.
Dermasil Dry Skin Treatment is a very LIGHT lotion that works nicely. If you want a heavier cream for overnight wear - try Udder Cream (with the black cow spots on the tube - like a jersey cow).
Most importantly -- if you are experiencing dry skin, it's very likely you are simply dehydrated. Skin gets it's elasticity and moisture from the inside, not the outside. So make sure you are drinking enough water (at least 64 oz a day), and eating lots of healthy, juicy fruits and vegs.
Your best bet is to look for a moisturizer with antioxidants (vitamin C, green tea, vitamin E, A, K, etc). Olay is a pretty good product for drug store brands, as is Dove. To combat wrinkles use products with Retinol, retinoids, or vitamin A. You will find better creams in some of the higher end lines. Kinerase is known for working well, as is Murad and Dermadoctor. All three are quite pricey but you can get them and read reviews on them at amazon.com (beauty). Serums soak into the skin better and so generally have more bang for your buck and can be used under a regular moisturizer.

kinerase lotion. i know it is pricy but i swear it is the best stuff i have ever found!! i would pay double for it if that is what they charged.one tube usually last me 10 months. i am 35 and a smoker and a drinker - the worst things for skin - and i am constanly asked what i am going to do when i turn 30! kinerase erases all your wrinkles, tightens and tones the skin with the PERFECT moisture balance. i learned of this product through my dermatologist three years ago and have lived by it ever since. i use this lotion every morning and at night after washing my face i rub sliced cucumber on my face.
if you live in a cooler dryer climate then get the kinerase cream instead of the lotion.
For my face I use Himalaya Herbals Face Moisturizing Lotion which seems to work really good it re-hydrates the skin and restores its moisture balance. Its cheap only 9.95 and you can buy it at any local store. I get mine at Wal-Mart.you should try it
Neutrogena. I have been using the face cleanser and moisturizer for about 3 months now and I really like it. I also use to use Oil of Olay and like the Neutrogena much better. They compare in price.
I'm 45 and have used Clinique Products since I was in my late teens...right now I use Clinique Turnaround Concentrate and then Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion...People tell me I look as though I am in my Early 30's.
You will have to choose several products to see which works best for your skin of course, but I like Mary Kay products and find a difference in 48 hours ! I also like Dove products.
(NO, I am not a consultant)
I use Olay products too, and I really like it- but maybe your skin is drier than mine,--they say the new product's out now
by Dove is really good.
all i kno is tht my mom is over 40 and she uses MARY KAY and it really helps. thye have like tons of stuff to make you face healthier and preety!=]
Dove Pro-Age... my mom uses that and oil of olay regenerist is amazing.... loves it!!
I use Loreal RevitaLift (Double Lifting) as the cream. I wash my face with NuSkin 180 Fash Wash which is packed with Vit. C.
olay regenerates
oh well my mom is a little over 40 and she uses Clinique Repairwear intensive night cream. It works!
Try Esoterica.
well im not 40 but my mother uses i think like a special make -up like cover girl to cover up anything!
I use Oil of a Great Lay.
Use botox!
the products of marykay are the best!
hi, well i use just about everything but u need to drink alot of water to help u out. good luck, bb
i use ponds, and lancomb
I use whatever the wife has lying around lol,,

kinerase lotion. i know it is pricy but i swear it is the best stuff i have ever found!! i would pay double for it if that is what they charged.one tube usually last me 10 months. i am 35 and a smoker and a drinker - the worst things for skin - and i am constanly asked what i am going to do when i turn 30! kinerase erases all your wrinkles, tightens and tones the skin with the PERFECT moisture balance. i learned of this product through my dermatologist three years ago and have lived by it ever since. i use this lotion every morning and at night after washing my face i rub sliced cucumber on my face.
if you live in a cooler dryer climate then get the kinerase cream instead of the lotion.
It works!

Should I apply eye cream to damp skin or dry skin? And can I apply a moisturizer over eye cream?
eye cream can be applied to damp or dry skin. it doesn't really matter, however depending on how damp your skin is will affect how quickly the cream is absorbed.
you can apply moisturiser over eye cream if you have quite dry skin that needs the extra moisture. but it is not necessary for normal to oily skin, as most eye creams are formulated specifically to provide as much moisture to the eye area as possible.Should I apply eye cream to damp skin or dry skin? And can I apply a moisturizer over eye cream?
to help retain more moisture, apply eye cream to damp skin. and moisturizer is not needed over eye cream. good eye creams already have moisturizing benefits, and most moisturizers are not formulated for the delicate, sensitive skin around the eye.Should I apply eye cream to damp skin or dry skin? And can I apply a moisturizer over eye cream?
i dont know . lol
Apply right after you wash and dry your face.
apply eye cream to dry skin. If you need additional moisture like I do this time of year, then you can apply the moisturizer over the top.
lightly dry your skin then appy eye cream. You dont really need moisturizer over the eye cream as it is usually pretty thick.
You apply it to your skin immediately after cleansing and drying with a towel. I don't think you need to apply moisturizer over it, since the eye cream should add enough moisture on its own. I hope it helps : ).

I would also say to stay away from anything that has mineral oil in it!!! I personal use and sell Arbonne and love it!! Arbonne has a 2 step body care set that is awesome of dry skin!! I love it!! I use it on my feet and me feet have never looked better or been softer!!Skin of my legs are too dry, cracks can be clearly seen. i apply lots of cold cream nd moisturizer but no use.
Vaseline and baby oil will dry you out more never use products with a mineral oil (Petroleum base) - especially with dry skin. That goes for cheap creams too.
Try eating more protein - (meat, chicken, fish, peanut butter)
and take some vitamin e orally + up your water -
I love the new cocoa butter (gel) made by the brand Vaseline it's pure and natural and seals in moisture in the shower. Try using it with a lufa or one of those puffs it should help a lot. (Clear bottle/brown top)
Have you tried using unscented Vaseline? Apply it after you bath or shower, evenings and mornings.
it even works for real bad cracked heels.
what is ur diet like ? a little bit of olive oil in ur diet might help, use the best oil u can get .also dry brushing is good .
I have this problem in the summer when I shave and it's hot... I buy some heavy cream at bath %26amp; body and that works for me... I tried baby oil as well and vaselinemakeup tips

Can hydryocortizone cream be interpreted as an extreme moisturizer?
Is this cream sometimes prescribed to treat those white dry spots that you may get in the face from being out in the sun and such? Is this cream sort of like a heavy moisturizer? I could not find the information anywhere online really, so please any links will help! Thank you!!!!Can hydryocortizone cream be interpreted as an extreme moisturizer?
Dont use Hydrocortizone cream on your face.
i think what your talking about is Aqueous cream or Lemis Fatty Acid cream. which is a really thick intense mosturising cream, alot of people with dermatitis use this.
You can get it from any chemist or pharmacy.
Hydrocortzone cream is used to treat fungal and bacterial skin rashes and inflamations.
It is quite strong.
I get white spots on my face too in sumer and winter.
And they feel rough??
I dont think there is much you can do about it apart from mosturising your face really well and using sunblock. Can hydryocortizone cream be interpreted as an extreme moisturizer?
The best way to moisturize your skin is from the inside out - go to the store and buy aloe vira plant. Fillet it and put it in a blender with juice.

Why does my moisturizer say Avoid eye area? Both the day and night cream says this.?
I bought J%26amp;J Fair Complexion products. What an I suppose to put on my eyes? My skin is prone to breakouts around the shin and mouth area. I do follow a Basic skin care routine of Cleansing with Dermalogica cleanser (anti-bac) for skin prone to breakouts, followed by a toner and now this new Moisturizer. Any suggestions? Why does my moisturizer say Avoid eye area? Both the day and night cream says this.?
Most moisturizers say avoid the eye are because the eye area is very sensitive.
The eye area can irritate if you put cream on there.
also wrinkles may appears later in life.
Results may vary due to skin types.
stick to your daily skin routine only if you see results.
if no results are apparant then you might be buying an expensive range that make false claims.
try herbel and natural soaps/facewashes.Why does my moisturizer say Avoid eye area? Both the day and night cream says this.?
If it says avoid eye, its probably a little bit concentrated. Some people ignore it, but i use a different cream for night time! I use ; Shi Seido Super Eye Cream... and it works like a dream!
As for the face washing stuff: Again, i use Dr. Morad and Elemis stuff!
To be more specific:
Doctor Morad face wash
Elemis Toner
Elemis Face Scrub
Elemis Face mask
Doctor Morad Face moisturizer
and for the breakouts, i also rub salt all over my face and wash it off with warm water and it works!
hope i helped!
The reason for this is that the skin around your eyes is very thin and therefore sensitive. Also putting heavy cream like that on your eyes can cause white lumps called milia to appear nd can lead to premature wrinkling of your skin.
A good eyecream would be korres evening primrose eye cream to give you a nicer complexion.
Because the eye area is the most sensitive, the most fragile, so your facial moisturizers are hursh on it. The same thing for hand cream, foot cream, and body cream, always stick to what the label say.
Most facial moisturizers are to heavy for the eye area and can irritate it as well. Get an actual eye cream.

What is a good eye cream that is inexpensive, also is eye cream necessary if I already use a night moisturizer
i am in my 20s and have tried lots of eye creams since i have worked in makeup and skin care. here are my faves for different budgets...
merle norman preventage firming eye cream with spf $24
and
avon ageless results renewing eye cream $12
check out the reviews on makeupalley.com
i apply mine in the morning before makeup, and at night before bed. it is best to use a separate eye cream since the skin around the eyes is more sensitive and delicate than the rest of your skin, and these creams are mafde specifically for those areas. What is a good eye cream that is inexpensive, also is eye cream necessary if I already use a night moisturizer
i think it's not really necessary, but if you want you can try l'oreal's cream, it's inexpensive and it works! What is a good eye cream that is inexpensive, also is eye cream necessary if I already use a night moisturizer
try putting two slices of cucumber. it really work and inexpensive.
u can try using nivea eye cream. my mother use it.
you know what? i just bought a classic nivea creme the one in a blue round tin and i used it as eyecream....then this morning, i noticed that it actually worked on making the fine lines under my eyes less obvious, and i mean me looking closer in the mirror! and yeah it's very cheap! the smallest one may cost more or less $1!
yes it is best to use eye cream also b/c its more for your eyes a regular moisturizer doesnt do much for your eyes. it brightens them much. i use the neatrogena eye brightening cream it really does work it helps REDUCE not eliminate the puffiness and dark circles it just over all brightens them, i use it day and night under my face moisturizer. i also use the neatrogena face cream its helped my skin much.

I just bought the Olay Night Firming Cream, should I also use an Olay moisturizer?
I've been using the Aveeno moisturizer with spf 15 to even out skin tone for almost 2 years, it moisturizes my skin good but it didn't help even out my skin tone. So today, I bought the Olay Total Effects Night Firming Cream coz it might help with my uneven skin tone due to sun damage and it says it'll help minimize pores. And my question is, should I still use my Aveeno moisturizer in the morning or should I stop it and buy an Olay moisturizer instead?I just bought the Olay Night Firming Cream, should I also use an Olay moisturizer?
I have been using the Olay moisturizer for sensitive skin since i was 15, but Olay is a product that does contain more oil. i wouldn't over do it, or you might start to break out.
I would suggest washing your face with a light cleanser before bed, appling you night Olay cream. When you wake in the morning wash your face again with a light cleaner (dont over wash or again you will break out) and use only a small amount of whichever cream you want, it doesnt matter, but use less the a pea size amount!I just bought the Olay Night Firming Cream, should I also use an Olay moisturizer?
I use Olay Regenerist day and night moisturizer and an olay cleanser with micro beads. The cleanser is the best cosmetic product I ever bought. I am 62 and have a skin like porcelain, I get comments daily.

Male grooming : Eye Cream first THEN Moisturizer or other way round?
Just a quick question, before applying the moisturizer (Hugo Boss tinted), do I put the EYE CREAM (You know reduce puffyness stuff) on BEFORE or AFTER the moisturize?
I'm guessing you put the eye cream on first, let it settle, then do the moisturize, though I just wanted to check, is this the right %26amp; most beneficial way?Male grooming : Eye Cream first THEN Moisturizer or other way round?
I'd agree with you.
Eye cream is specialized, so applying it directly to skin seems to be the best way to maximize it's effects. While moisturizer is a generalized skin treatment, so it makes perfect sense to apply it after. Male grooming : Eye Cream first THEN Moisturizer or other way round?
eye cream first because you want the active ingredients directly on your skin... and wait till your eye area is dry from washing first if you use strivectin or something like that. i used to put it on right after washing and i got the tiniest little rash.
first the eye Cream use your ring finger to apply then use the moisturize

Liquid or cream or powder foundation or tinted moisturizer or mineral foundation?
what is your favorite and why? what type of skin do you have? and are you in your early 20s?
what type of foundation is best?Liquid or cream or powder foundation or tinted moisturizer or mineral foundation?
Early 20's, normal to oily skin... and I LOVE mineral make-up. It makes your face look so much more natural and not shiny.
Don't use foundation with it. It's icky anyway and it clogs your pores.Liquid or cream or powder foundation or tinted moisturizer or mineral foundation?
I've tried compressed powder (wore it for a while), foundation (hated it), but I ADORE mineral powder, the coverage is FANTASTIC, even with the cheap stuff.
My skin is kinda light beige, not fair. I have completely clear skin, but your usual redness imperfections in some places.
And I'm 19.
Sheer Cover and Bare Essentials is the hot stuff on the market, but I use physician's formula, which is like $10, and I like it, been using it for 2 years. L'Oreal stuff is also very nice, better quality.
Its my fave because foundation is gunky/gets thick when you sweat and after you wear it for a while, it often clogs pore easily and doesn't let skin breathe.
Compressed powder tends to highlight dry imperfections on the skin because the little sponge that comes with the compact gives you a straight up thick layer of powder.
Mineral powder has light reflective elements, its loose, which allows for a very nice, polished finish since you can apply with a kabuki-type brush, you can really control the amount that goes on your face. And its my opinion that it highlights dry spots less than other powder does, which is nice.
I'm 24. From the age of 16 I was using liquid foundation. It was working fine until about my very early 20's, I started getting bad breakouts. I stopped using liquid foundation all together back in July and started using Smoky Mountain Minerals foundation. No breakouts at all, and I know it's because I stopped using the liquid, messy, drugstore crap and started using a good mineral makeup. Unlike Bare Minerals and a lot of other popular mineral makeup brands, Smoky Mountain Minerals has no bismuth oxychloride, which a lot of people have bad reactions to. It covers well, it's not as expensive as Bare Minerals or Sheer Cover, and it doesn't have a bunch of useless fillers like the others. I really do love it, and I will neverrrr go back to liquid.
I am in my early twenties and I use liquid foundation personally. However I always make sure that I use a primer with my make-up before applying anything else on my face.
Powder foundation or products such as Bare Minerals are a powder/mineral which means that they can very easily crease. Most of my clients often complained of using such products and seeing noticeable lines around their mouth where they smile.
A tinted moisturizer would be great to use if you have exceptionally great skin and just want a little glow.
I was not blessed with such skin which is why I love liquid foundation since I get perfect coverage and it lasts all day.
mineral foundation, I have fair, sensitive skin that sometimes gets a little bit dry and doesn't react well to tons of makeup, and I'm 19
it covers really well and I've found that with my skin color at least, it's the only stuff that doesn't look orange
I also like tinted moisturizer, but I usually make my own by adding a little bit of liquid foundation to some moisturizer/sunscreen (it keeps the color light enough for me)
I started using Bareminerals when I was 25. I had dry skin and oily skin on my forehead. I also had really bad acne. I like the Bareminerals because it didn't clog my pores, didn't dry out my skin, and did absorb the access oil on my forehead. It gives a clean smooth polished look without that icky caked on feeling. I also LOVE the fact that it looks natural on my skin and I don't get that gross make-up line along my chin. I have clearer skin to and when I do happen to get a break out it covers it completely! It also doesn't sweat off or get icky like liquid make-up will in humidity.
i have dry/sensitive skin so i use Moisture foundation (liquid) which i buy from The Body Shop. It has SPF 15 in it to, which is great as i have very fair skin.
I like liquid foundation the best. Because i have dry skin, powder makes my skin look drier, but liquid gives me that 'smooth' look.
I buy from the body shop because they dont test on animals, the money goes to a good cause and because they gave me a mini makeover to help me choose which make up is best for my skin type (it was free too)
i'm 19 btw. 20 in a month! yay!
i personaly use mineral foundation powder, i dont like liquid foundation i dont feel its right for me as im quite pale and can make me look orange!
im 19 btw :) i have normal skinmakeup tips

How can i make a body cream or moisturizer at home?
Get some Crisco shortening and some buttermilk. Use 1 part crisco to 2 parts buttermilk.. Heat the Crisco until it melts. Mix with the buttermilk. It will be silky smooth on your skin. A dash of vanilla extract will give it a nice aroma, too!

Even oily skin needs a moisturizer, but choose a light, watery fluid; this will be enough for your skin. Allow the moisturizer to sink in well and then absorb the excess with a tissue to prevent shine.check out http://tipsfromruby-skincare.blogspot.co…Which is the best moisturizer cream for oily face?

Is it true that you shouldn't use moisturizer around your eyes, only eye cream?
I recently heard that because the skin is different, using moisturizer can actually accentuate fine lines. I always use both eye cream and moisturizer. Is it true that you shouldn't use moisturizer around your eyes, only eye cream?
I don't think it's damaging to the tissue, but it may be too harsh for your eyes themselves if it were to get in them. A lot of companies don't have their products ophthalmologist-tested, so tell you not to use them on the eyes.
What I have read is that the molecules in the face creams aren't appropriate for the pores on the eyes- that they are too large to penetrate the skin appropriately. Also, keep in mind that the moisturization needs are different for both areas- you may need a light moisturizer/hydrator on your face but a bit more help around the eye area.
So, use an eye-specific product around the eyes. :)Is it true that you shouldn't use moisturizer around your eyes, only eye cream?
It not only accentuates the fine lines it damages your lines...as this skin around your eyes is thinner than anywhere on your outer body. Most products will tell you not to use around the eyes.
Any moisturiser is better than nothing. Some advertising agencies will write anything to sway the buying public.
NOTHING can stop wrinkles!!!! NOTHING.
yes its true the skin is more sensitive here and normal moisturiser will be too harsh, your best bet would be to ask at a make up counter (or the body shop are usually quite good) where they will show you where and how to apply eye cream and possibly recommend one that suits your age range and skin type,
i've always just put moisturiser allover my face.. i never thought about my eyes but its never affected me
Here's a tip for you too!
if you put moisturiser under your chin and on your neck it's suppose to stop signs on ageing
hope i was help =)
I use moisturizers all over... ESPECIALLY around my eyes and it's helped soften the ';crows feet'; wrinkles. I also use preparation H.... yea you read correctly! lol... on the puffy bags and it works there too... they're almost all gone!!! NO bad side effects from any of them... and I'm in my 50's.
That's what I heard. The girls at the make up counter told me that using moisturizer can actually cause dark circles. Eeek!
Completely, not true. Actually you should be using a moisturizer instead of cream. Think about someone with oilier skin, lets just take asian people for example, they have GREAT skin. And they look a lot younger too because of it, they never have wrinkles or any signs of aging. So the oilier your skin, the younger the look. So if your trying to get rid of or prevent wrinkle, you would use something with some oil in it, right??? However, if your put it around your eyes, it might just irritate them. So just be careful of what your using. Don't use anything with any type of dye or smell to it. That just means that they add alcohol, so look for something that is clear or even white
yeah use eye cream.
